ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the word degradation is used in its general sense but with different implication in the context of the Astroeschatology; indeed, it relates to a decline, a descent but one caused by humanity’s aversion to the scope for transcension and will hence lead to humanity’s extinction if such a downward course is continued; use of the word ptosarianism is based on the Greek word ptósi meaning “fall” to denote the Degradation of humankind.
